Our international conference ISI 2022: Intelligent Information Management was a great success!

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, our long-awaited ISI 2022 conference took place in the modern premises of the Cubex Center in Prague 4.

ISI International Conference 2022: Intelligent Information Management, 31 May 2022

Preparations for the conference began on Monday. We thank Cubex Center Prague for providing great premises for our event.

Tuesday’s all-day conference started at 9:30 a.m. by registering and welcoming guests.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Finland, Jukka Pesola, opened the conference at 10:00.

The moderator of the whole conference day was Marek Dědič.

The first part of the ISI 2022 conference

Keynote speech was given by foreign speaker Sebastiaan Crebolder, Senior Manager, Global Channel Marketing from the Finnish company M-Files. He introduced the conference participants to the idea of a paperless office and an innovative view of information management.

The keynote speech by Sebastian Crebolder was followed by David Páter, M-Files Division Manager at Digital Resources. He presented current challenges in the field of document and information management and their solution using modern tools such as the DMS / ECM system M-Files. The presentation also included a quiz question with a valuable gift for the winner.

The first part of the lectures was ended by Václava Slavíčková, M-Files Solution Engineer, Digital Resources who showed the guests why M-Files is changing the way the world manages information, and demonstrated a more advanced live demonstration of the M-Files system. She also introduced the guests to the DMS-IN.CLOUD solution.

At the end of the first part of the conference, there was a discussion and answering questions from the audience using the slido application.

The first coffee break followed, when participants could not only refresh themselves, but also get to know our partners at the stands.

The second part of the ISI 2022 conference

The second part of the lectures was started by Marián Baňas, Integration developer, CAD, BIM, data management specialist, cadvision and Dávid Filípek, Maintenance Management Technician and DMS Administrator, Nafta, who showed guests the connection between DMS M-Files and Maintenance Management Software in practice.

Lenka Papajanovská, Consultant from Digital Resources, focused on effective business management and introduced Intuo for business solution.

The follow-up lecture was on the topic of service management and planning using the Intuo Service solution, which was given by Jiří Porš, Project Manager from Digital Resources. There was a quiz question for a valuable prize.

The second block of lectures was ended by Lucie Sedláčková, Ema Dědičová and Veronika Sedláčková from the Asociace za lepší ICT řešení with the topic What conversational AI can do for you – chatbots entertain and advise you. They showed the participants why their project took second place in the DigiEduHack competition, and introduced the possibilities of using chatbots in companies.

This was followed by a discussion with all the speakers of the second part and then a lunch break and networking.

The third part of the ISI 2022 conference

The third part of the program was started Jiří Cmíral, Sales Director of SOCOS IT with the topic of automation of document (not only accounting) digitization into internal systems. He introduced the guests to the extraction system DOCU-X OCR.

Martin Kopecký, lawyer and partner of Kopecký Hála & Co., advokátní kancelář focused on legal certainty and risks of information protection in the business environment.

This was followed by a practical demonstration of information protection according to the ISO 27001 directive by Jan Sedláček, Chairman of the Board of Digital Resources.

The conference also included a lecture by customer professionals who shared with the participants their “best practices” and their views on intelligent information management – Vendula Lazecká and Zdeněk Bezpalec from the company PHOENIX lékárenský velkoobchod.

The fourth part of the ISI 2022 conference

The afternoon coffee break was followed by a final lecture on the integration of information management systems with regular systems. Jan Sedláček explained the importance of interconnecting enterprise systems, Kristýna Jandová, Marketing Manager of Digital Resources, showed guests the M-Files mobile application and Jakub Kiml, Consultant of Digital Resources performed a live demonstration of deep integration between systems M-Files, Intuo – Company Intelligence and Helios iNUVIO.

The conference then continued with a panel discussion of several speakers.

Draw of participants for valuable prizes

The last part of the conference day was a final discussion and a raffle of participants for prizes worth a total of CZK 120,000. 10 beautiful prizes were drawn, with the winner of the first prize taking home an APPLE iPad mini Wi-Fi 64GB tablet, a voucher for the annual M-Files operation in DMS-IN.CLOUD for 5 users and 2 tickets to a Queen Symphonic concert worth a total of 75,000 CZK.
